Anilao Diving Photography – October 28, 2012
On the second day of the diving weekend, we went night diving at Anilao Pier where I was able to take photos of an octopus, and 2 kinds of shrimp. There were other creatures but the photos didn’t come out well. On the last day of the diving weekend, we dove Arthur’s Rock where I took some macro photography. I’m quite happy, with several creatures captured on photos. The new philosophy of nature tripping–take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but bubbles.
Aiyanar – A Diver’s Haven in Anilao
Anilao is one of my favorite dive destinations, not only because it is just two hours drive from my home but because of the rich marine life, varying underwater terrain, the different diving environments and the friendly and competent dive masters in the area.
I frequently go to Anilao to dive and get away from the stress of my daily work routine and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere above and below the water in this famous diving community. Anilao is a barangay in the town of Mabini, province of Batangas. From where I live, Alabang, it’s a leisurely two hour drive passing through very good roads.
Tears for Fears in Manila, August 10, 2012. Finally, I Got To Watch Them!
I missed their first Philippine concert back in 2010 because it was the height of the election campaign. I heard it was jam-packed event, and I really felt bad to miss it. But thankfully, they came back for a return performance. I made sure I’d be able to watch it. Not only watch it, but also catch it in photos.
